Despite my worries, Rachel Leventhal turns out to be an extremely nice individual, and my whole disciplinary meeting lasted about five minutes. Basically, I have to take The Class and do some work (she says she can try and get me on B&G, so I can drive the golf carts). The most serious warning is if I get in trouble for anything else this year I get put on suspended eviction. I don't really forsee this being a problem - after all, this is my first offense in two years. I can get out of them. Right? Right.

Though I did get a parking ticket yesterday - which really baked my cheese (my RICHARD CHEESE) since if I'd gotten up ten minutes earlier I could have moved it before Sources and thus avoided a $15 charge for leaving it at Blodgett. Ticket was issued at 1014 AM, just as I was debating whether I should go move the car and be late for class, or be on time and move it right after. I chose poorly.

Another thing that sucks: The Suicide Machines show is on Founder's Day. It's at 630 PM, but in the city, and I think the entire campus will be immobile by then - anyone want to go with me? I'll hold off on excessive drinking for that... if not, ZOX and RJD2 will suffice, I suppose.

Been working on another song, thy lyrics to which I will post right here right now - the paper I wrote them on has only just turned up with a series of notes taken on the video for Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood" while under the influence of the gravity bong (extraordinary revelations about how power struggles progress from the evil to those who oppose and fail to those who oppose and succeed to the the apathetic - you guys should try Mazik's creation). At any rate, to prevent being lost: lyrics )

In other news, I can't believe I got sucked into the fight on the Vassar board. Fucking childish of me. Never again.

Had a four hour nap today... after a full night's sleep... and am about ready for another one. Ridiculous. Explanations range from a) I'm sick to z) I smoke too much, both of which are plausible. Lucky I'm a drama major and out of my production so I can nap all I want. I didn't get cast in Li's project, but that'll be fine, since it's more time to practice with the band....

Nothing exciting. I just like wasting your time! Now deal with it!

As a truly pointless experiment, I've put on my iTunes list and am just letting it run in its entirety for all 9.6 days. 3,513 songs from longest (A Change of Seasons - Dream Theater - Live Scenes from New York - 24:33) to shortest (Homestar Runner yelling "Hey, stupid! I brought you this stuff!" - :02). Should finish on Friday the 16th.

That's a lot of songs.
