Just came back from having a meeting with Eunice, and I'm glad we finally had a talk about the show. It's really ridiculous how I've been acting (or rather, not acting) in rehearsal. Extremely immature. I recognize that, and am trying to reconcile myself with the show. It's not an intentional thing by any means (which actually makes it harder to overturn). I just need to fucking do the work on my own, and it'll be fine - it's been extremely disappointing for both myself and the director thus far, apart from select moments when I manage to break out of it. Eunice said that she knows I can do this part well, which was one reason for casting me thusly, so I need to live up to that expectation - especially as a senior, I should be over this by now.

It was a good, honest conversation, and I feel much better about the part now. I got some tips, made some decisions, and from now on, not a step backwards, dammit!

I hope this Seminar assignment I'm handing in is the good kind of clever, not the totally missed the point kidney-losing kind. I think it's pretty cool, anyway.

This has gone well.

Got two papers back from the Seminar Of Confusion, which were an A and a B+. These will hopefully make up for the fact that I don't open my mouth at all in class. At least I stay awake and listen, which is more that can be said for some of my previous classes. Come to think of it, I haven't fallen asleep in class yet this year. Awesome. Also handed in the Clever Assignment, which she seemed to enjoy from the outside.

Planning October Break with Tyler: we are going to be heading for Boston on the last weekend to see the BU crowd. Hopefully there will be time to go to Providence, or at least get Gretchen to hop a bus to Boston.

Sideshow rehearsal tonight, where we saw the rest of the stories acted out. Some of them are pretty cool, some of them less so, and the show gets a little confusing in the end, hopefully because it isn't yet done. Solidified my music choices, and am pretty happy with how that project is going.

And finally, had Romeo and Juliet rehearsal tonight, and made Eunice very happy with the reinvented Lord Capulet. That made me really pleased as well, I started to get some of the rush from doing scenes back, which is really what makes it all worth it. Now I gotta keep it up.

CEDAR CREEK in oh so soon. We're also getting Waylon and Guy (douchebag!) falling in with us (Jerry and Andrew and I), so we're going to hunt Nathan Bedford down and have a HE party, photograph farbs at the ball, beg Scot to spork the galtroops and FFFDCGs, hang out with Julie, invade Speedy's little stall, and generally have an awesome time. Andrew and I will hopefully be composing a farb-based parody to MSI's song Tornado (I step up and hit ya like a farby tornado, you ain't hardcore campaigner, so who the fuck are you then? - or something). Come on, Friday.

oh, and I still have to do Dan's midterm, but that's a "take haume open bouks" test, so no sweat we hope. Especially considering most of what i do in his class is write down his quips; IE: "In China, you can kill 50 million people, and nobody would notice." In a heavy Russian accent. What a great guy.

Now: pork adobo and maybe weasel into morg's Star Wars game.
