I've been getting some Spam email lately that has made me giggle.

This isn't one of those deposed Nigerian princes who need you to send money care of Bubba Chubbs in Biloxi, nor is it the answer to my ererctile dysfunction problems, or even the long awaited news "Morrtgagee Ratee Approvved - Ratess Will Skyrocket Soon."

No, these come from a simple website, and each has a simple title: "Software."

The amusement factor comes from the names that are generated by the website. Usually, automated emails pick names like Randolph Huggins or Tanya Smith; or they make an amalgam of names from your address book, like Steven Penfield or Damian Roberts. Normal enough.

This website, on the other hand, has done away with all that bothersome protocol and restriction, and is clearly operating with nothing less than the new OED Online.

So far I have gotten emails from:

Poppins J. Rubaiyat

Basketball B. Justify

and my favorite:
Beechnut S. Misunderstanding

Thank you, annonymous discount software page, for bringing some brief amusement to my otherwise hellish week

All the cool (and not cool) kids are doing it. Plus, it'll help me with my own schedule, since I keep forgetting things.
