reason and logic have been thrown out the window. a jesus fish won't save you (from a car crash). fanatic fits (will only) lead to a mental diaper rash. no matter how you look at it, worm food is worm food. reason and logic have been thrown out the window, the scoundrels just don't know it yet.

Another strange weekend in a string of strange weekends. This one stranger than the past ones due to the ingestion of psilocybins by Morgan and myself, the first time since London. Spent a long time on Friday afternoon sitting and listening to the Smashing Pumpkins and Massive Attack and just enjoying being. I didn't trip hard, but looking at things was phenomenal. We took a walk outside once it got dark, and all the stars were out... Morgan brought the lightsaber, which was cool and then got annoying, and I brought my ipod with The Arcade Fire, which is a band I might only be able to appreciate under such circumstances. The stars and trees and lights were beautiful. It was a feeling I hope everyone can experience before they die. Not the feeling of "wow, I'm on shrooms!" but the ability to look at the smallest thing and feel that you're connected in some way. Some people can do this without having to resort to drugs, and I am jealous of that ability.

Then 100 Nights. A bizarre party if ever there was one. Half the people looked like deer in headlights, the rest looked like utterly wasted deer in headlights. I didn't dress up for it. Less than 100 days until graduation.

Alan was here, and that was awesome.

Had seven hours of filming hard on the tail of four hours of sortofsleep and twelve hours of intoxication immediately prior. It was nuts, but worth it. I really like working on this film, I think it's gonna look pretty fantastic in the end. Philip Levine is a strange guy.

Seven Deadly Sins was last night, and it sucked. Morgan and RaMina and I went to check it out, due to some misguided sense of civic duty. We shoulda just stayed at the Vagina Monologues cast party.

My sister is turning green, and I wasn't there for it. A little disappointing that I missed it, but apparently she accounted herself well, so I am proud of her.

My cellphone (the new one) is crap, and isn't working properly. Another trip to the sullen folks at the Poughkeepsie Verizon store.

Angsty last night.

out with the old. this is the new. the minor details have been overlooked. plastic people making plastic trees grow out of concrete, this landscape lacks intellectual quality. emergency.

Homework and chinese buffet today. And Archangels Don't Play Pinball readthrough. Kind of a sexy group working on that show. And the script is beyond bizarre in a really cool way. I'm gonna enjoy designing that. Christopher and Kira have to build some crazy as hell set that moves with levers.

Apparently, I won't be needed for Treaty until right when they go up, which makes things easier.

Sean Pridgeon wants to hang out in the city and be reenactor punks for a weekend. I think I will spend some of spring break with him. I haven't got many plans for that, just live at the apartment and go to the city to see people and get an idea of the town. And go to Brother Jimmy's for ribs (you hear that, Jesse?)

First event of the season is coming up too, right at the end of break. Bedford Artillery school and JB meeting.

Last.fm is gonna show the most played artist of the week to be Sigur Rós. Album: Ágætis Byrjun. It's good stuff.

No Russian for me tomorrow. There's another test, and I have a lot of writing to do. I don't know how much I'm actually learning from auditing. We did learn about Чебурашка (Cheburashka - from a Russian colloquialism meaning "to fall with a thud") an adorable little critter who "looks like a defective toy" according to one of the other characters. I actually quite liked the show, it's all stop-action animation (animation is one thing the Soviets were really good at), and he's just so damned cute. Plus, looking wistfully at people and saying "Я не знаю" in the little Cheburashka voice is lots of fun, and apparently slightly disturbing when done simultaneously with a certain Asian. Other than that, verb conjugations are fucking with me, and I feel dumb in class because I don't really know what I'm doing since I never get to do the homework. Vicious cycle.

aim for the heart 'cause you've seen it on t.v., aim for the heart 'cause you've seen it in a movie. often given what is wanted. because blood only mixes with so many other chemicals. some of the specifics quickly affect the brain.

Life. ay me. (that's from Anisometropia).

enough z'enough.
