i_was_like_this_onceA gray gloomy end-of-vacation Saturday and once again brick walls are built far more quickly than they can be dismantled, which imitates reality not at all.
Spent a good portion of today shooting at bottles and a printout of George W to take out my aggression. It worked only partially - flying shards of glass and pellets punching through paper and wood are fun for a while but eventually settle into routine. Plus, there are now several pellet sized holes in the side of the barn, including one in a fairly solid door, and I had a ricochet go whipping past my ear. Nobody wants to pull a Christmas Story incident with a rifle like that, so I pegged George between the eyes and called it a day.
SPAC get together tonight. Hopefully that'll go well.
...or maybe I'll end up in a little ball. Who knows.
