Brief update, I'm tired as hell and have work in the morning.
1). Bands. I ain't going to audition. I heard some reports from another bass player on CRUMBS.net, and have decided that these guys are probably full of it. Instead, I shall work on the experimental/free time project with Mike Swartz, which got a song and a half worked out today.
2). Work. My job at the Hall of Springs isn't just setting up tables - it's also cleaning. Cleaning everything. I cleaned the bar, the patio, and sterilized two bathrooms in preparation for a prom. And let me tell you, the ladies room in there is like a fucking lounge. No wonder women spend so much time there, it's like a little R&R center, chairs, lounge things, the works. It's even carpeted. SPAC, on the other hand, is the shizzle of my nizzle, best coworkers EVER. Tell me you wouldn't want a job with several hot girls who like your "artwork" (Evil Jesus, Michael Jackson's Massage Tips for Kids, etc), can talk about Noam Chomsky and media control, tell good stories and BRING YOU THE STRONG BAD SINGS ALBUM (thanks you Deanna! My family loves you eternally for that!) Sure, the pay is pretty bad, but the working conditions rule. I was rocking out to Trogdor and cutting up People Magazine all today, occasionally dealing with customers (one of whom was - swear to god - tripping balls).
3). I'm doing well. Very well. Huzzah. Very sleepy all the time, though - such a wuss, going to bed before midnight....
